U14 to U19 PROGRAM
LPSC’s U14, U16 and U19 teams play in the NorCal Super Rec League. The Super Rec League is a large, regional league dedicated to recreational clubs and managed by NorCal Premier Soccer (NCPS).
Among the many clubs who participate in the NCPS Super Rec League, we’re happy that our league partners East Sacramento Youth Soccer League, River Park Soccer Club, Natomas Youth Soccer League, Delta United of Clarksburg and Greenhaven Soccer Club also participate in this league.
The NorCal Super Rec League is dedicated to maintaining a positive playing environment for all participants. There is a zero tolerance policy for any verbal or physical abuse by any player, coach, spectator or official.
To avoid conflict with high school soccer, the U16-U19 playing season begins and ends earlier than our other age groups. Practice for these teams can start as early as the middle of July. With the first game being typically in mid-August. 2023 season dates will be updated as soon as we have that information.
GAME FORMAT
U14-U19 teams play 11v11 with goalies on a full-size field. Scores and standing are kept.
U14 teams play two 35-minute halves with a 10-minute break in between. U16 teams play two 40-minute halves with a 10-minute break in between. U19 teams play two 45-minute halves with a 10 minute break in between.
