Welcome to Land Park Soccer Club Refereeing!
The upcoming 2023 season is here and we are preparing for you to join our team of referees. We have a terrific youth referee development program and provide support throughout the season to help them progress while earning extra money through the fall season.
For NEW REFEREES 13 years old or older, we are hosting an in-person referee class scheduled for Sunday August 5, 2023 starting at 9AM and ending around noon. The class will be held at Land Park Main, which is the large soccer field between the Land Park Club House and Fairytale Town. If you have not gone through the on-line certification process with the US Soccer Learning Center, you need to see the New Referee Page and follow ALL of the instructions. NOTE: Please be sure to complete ALL video assignments PRIOR to the field session.

If you have signed up for a field session at another location, including Elk Grove or East Sacramento, please send me an email once you have completed your field session, for additional instructions. If you want to referee but are 12 years old at the start of the season, please see the instructions on the New Referee Page.
For those of you returning referees, who are licensed for the 2022/2023 season, your registration will remain valid through the 2023 recreational season. Please check in with the US Soccer Learning Center to get ANY updates needed for your license, for example Safesport training. It is your responsibility to make sure your license is active. Text or email me with any questions.
If you have any friends who will get certified and referee for Land Park please let them know about the class and have them contact me.
We will have a club referee meeting on Monday July 24, 2023 at William Land Park Main starting at 5pm and it should not be longer than an hour – bring flags, and whistle. We will also have Zoom session for questions and review every other week on Mondays at 6pm.. I will email the link and post it on the website.
UPDATE – we will host a play date of scrimmage games on July 29th at Reichmuth Park, if you are returning referee and interested in working these paid games, please contact me.
