Welcome to Land Park Soccer Club Refereeing!

Who can be a Referee?

Youth aged 12 can be referees in training! Please complete steps 3 and 4 below and contact our Head Referee, Rob Meyer, at [email protected] for more information.  We provide a pathway for them to referee and to then get certified to be referees.  If you are 13 or older, please follow the steps below!

To Become a Referee:

Step 1:
First create an account on the US Soccer Learning Center website and sign up for the Grassroots Referee Course after July 1, 2023. All the education and USSF registration for referees has moved online to the US Soccer Learning Center. https://learning.ussoccer.com/referee

Step 2:
The US Soccer Learning Center has a list of upcoming in-person Grassroots Referee courses. You must complete the online content AND your in-person class to be fully licensed.  The Land Park soccer club field session is scheduled for Saturday August 5, 2023 at 9AM Land Park Main (the large field at William Land Park Just EAST of Fairytale Town). UPDATE: The class link is: https://learning.ussoccer.com/referee/courses/available/6/details/7391

You can also sign up for ANY grassroots referee course that is open and available in the your area e.g. Elk Grove.

Step 3:
Create or Update your account on Game Officials (www.gameofficals.net) Our Club Group is 1224 and the access password is referee. You will need this to connect to our assignor to be assigned to games. Make sure you certify yourself in your profile for Land Park Soccer Club and list your preferences as Land Park Preferred.

Step 4:
Contact the LPSC Head Referee, Robert Meyer, by email at [email protected]. Make sure to include your registration status, experience refereeing and playing. Don’t forget to include your contact information!  We will give you information on getting your uniform and the next steps to get started refereeing.
